Quilting

Example pricing: Quilt top measures 60 inches wide by 80 inches long.

60 x 80 = 4800 X.03 = $144

 

There is a $50 minimum quilting charge. Smaller projects will be rounded up to the $50 minimum.

 

Batting

 Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the quilting square inch price. 

 

I stock Quilters Dream batting (80/20 cotton/poly blend, 100% cotton, and in the 100% poly).  Please ask for availability. I charge for batting by the linear inch except in the case of special orders. I will use only what is needed for your quilt.

Example: Quilt top measures 60 inches wide by 80 inches long. Required batting will equal 10" larger than the smallest dimension. 

10" + 60" = 70" of required batting

Thread

I quilt with Glide Trilobal Polyester #40 & Glide Filament Polyester #60 weight.

There is no extra charge for thread.

Shipping

Enclose your quilt top and backing in a plastic bag before placing them in a hard sided box.  This will protect them from moisture and damage during transit. Make sure the box is clearly labeled and securely taped.  If you are local to Gainesville, VA, and would like to hand deliver your quilt, please contact me to schedule an appointment time.

Photography

Upon completion of the quilting, I will take photos of your quilt and then text/email those images to you.  The images may be used however you would like. If posting publicly, I would ask that you credit me for the photo and/or quilting.

Sales Tax

I am required by the State of Virginia to collect a 6% sales tax.
